Our Full Service Community School Night is April 27th at 5:30pm here at Pennycook.. April 26th is our District-wide STEAM Showcase at Jesse Bethel High School at 5:00pm . Fliers will be coming home to remind you of our events.

3rd-5th grades are testing April 17th and continue until May 19th.  Students will test on computer during scheduled times.  More information will come from your child's classroom teacher.

Yearbooks will go on sale Monday 5/1/17.  Look for fliers coming home by Friday.

This month is National Poetry Month and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Month (March 13th- April 6th). Shel Silverstein was a port and musician known for children’s books such as “The Giving Tree” and “Where the Sidewalk Ends”.  Helen Keller was an American Educator who overcame the adversity of being blind and deaf to become one of the 20th century’s leading humanitarians as well as cofounder of the ACLU.

Our lifeskill of the month is Generosity: Teachers and students will review what opportunity looks like and sounds like.

As always, working together, Pennycook Scholars are learners today and leaders tomorrow.
