International Walk to School Day!

Our Student Leadership members were joined by others as they walked to school in celebration of International Walk to School Day!  All participants received a free water bottle.  It was a nice, community event!

Weekly Message Principal Mitchell-Lewis


Hello, this is Mrs. Mitchell-Lewis from Pennycook Elementary School with important information for the week of May 14th-18th.


SPRING PICTURES will take place on Friday, May 18th. 


State Testing for 3rd-5th grade continues.  If your student is testing, please make sure they get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.  Also make sure your student gets to school on time.  Testing begins at 8:30am.  A health snack will be provided to student who are testing each day.

Note there is early dismissal on May 25th and no school May 28th.  From May 30th to June 7th, the last day of school, dismissal is 1:30pm.


Our lifeskill of the month is patience.  Students will review what it looks like and sounds like to show patience.


As always, working together, Pennycook Scholars are learners today and leaders tomorrow.
