Weekly Message Principal Mitchell-Lewis

Principal

Hello, this Mrs. Mitchell-Lewis from Pennycook Elementary School with important information for the week of September 18th-22nd.

There is a PTA Board meeting tomorrow at 4pm.  The SSC/ELAC meeting is at 5:30pm.  Participants will review the Single Plan for Student Achievement and budgets for approval prior to final submission to the district office.

Our library and computer lab are open.  If you have not done so already, please return the library and computer lab permission slips to the office.  Students will not be allowed to check out books nor utilize technology without signed consent.

Thank you to all that attended Back to School Night.

Remember, sell, sell, sell for our PTA Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser.

Our lifeskill of the month is self discipline.  Students will learn what it looks like and sounds like to have self discipline.

Our person of the month is Officer Capoot of the Vallejo Police Department.  Officer Capoot was a 19 year Police Veteran with VPD. During his tour with the Vallejo Police Department he supervised the Vallejo Junior Safety Patrol program. He also coached Vallejo High School's Girls basketball team.

As always, working together, Pennycook Scholars are learners today and leaders tomorrow.
